Molino Rojo
Molino Rojo
Molino Rojo is more difficult to find since they painted over the name, but is still recognizable as a large red building on a corner. The name means Red Windmill or Moulin Rouge in French.
The party continues until 5am, and it is best to arrive after 9pm. You will only rarely see dancers on the small stage, but the price for sex in a backroom is about $20.
A beer runs about $2, although you can expect to pay more to invite a girl to a drink. This is of course totally optional as any waiting girl is immediately for sex in the back room.
There is usually a cover charge at the front door, but this gets you a ticket to exchange for your first drink.
The level of talent at the Molino Rojo has fluctuated over the years. During the boom days of the late 1990s you could see some of the same girls in the Blue Marlin. Of course that would mean a price drop from $100 to $20, which was a welcome treat for any tourist lucky enough to catch one.

The location is just four blocks from Parque Central on Calle 2, which borders the west side of the park. Molino Rojo is also next to Arcadas, and just down the street from late night pension Miramar.
