Muses, formerly known as Joselyn's is one of the oldest venues in San Jose and is worth a look for any tourist who might enjoy a $20 hooker.
The location is non-descript apart from a simple “Open” sign that is ammusingly written in English.
Ring the doorbell and one of the girls will promptly open the door.
More recently turn over has improved, although the selection of talent is usually small.
Rooms are not deluxe, however are reasonably comfortable and always clean in stark comparision to the norm for low end venues.
Muses is also just a couple of doors away from the Poas Bar operated by a gringo from Illinois, so stop in for a quickie at Muses, and then walk over to the Poas to enjoy a couple $2 beers with the local expatriate gringos.

Talent in here has improved alot of late, and I saw an ad in Diario Extra, which means they are looking for new girls.
Found the Poas bar 2 blocks from the Holiday Inn and then found Muses at 5:30pm. Rang the bell and entered to find 6 young ladies with 2 quite attractive. No English spoken but $25 got a great response for a massage. This was mediocre followed by body to body and then the turn. Protected oral followed by her on top was great. The attitude was the best! Then she invited me to shower with her which enhanced the memory. The genuine friendly appreciative attitude makes me want to schedule the next trip.
