Passion's Night Club in Sosua
Passion's Night Club on Sosua Beach in the Dominican Republic is the hottest night club in town. On an average night there are dozens of girls and they are all ready to please. Club facilities are clearly designed with the North American tourist in mind.
The Menu
Prices are very reasonable, $30 for short time service in a room upstairs or $95 to take the girl back to your hotel room for the night.
There is a price list that explains how much to pay based on the amount of time you spend with the girls. The deluxe package is $135 for 16 hours, outcall to your hotel room.
No negotiation is allowed, and this rule also applies to the girls, so no tip hustling allowed.
Girls come from all over the island to Sosua in order to earn cash partying with tourists. Often the trips are brief, and most prefer to remain with one tourist, either all night or for several days.
Unlike in Costa Rica where only a few of the girls want to spend the entire night with you these girls are disappointed when you send them home early. Their goal is to tire you out so that won’t want another girl, and there are many in in Sosua.

Is there a place like Passions in San Jose?
There are a lot of MP's in San Jose but all poorly run, and most (like HLH) could care less about the customer - the price you pay at the door in San Jose isn't always the finial price you pay - the MP's in San Jose are notorious for sale and ripping you off.--- Passions in Sosua has a menu and it clearly states "NO negotiating either way" to answer your question NO !! --- at Passions they have rules for the girls (no smoking- no cell phones - no sleeping on the job etc.) If I was an MP owner in San Jose I would buy an airplane ticket and fly to Sosua and see how to run a place the right way, maybe then all your girls wouldn't be walking out the door on you or you wouldn't be getting gunned down buy some upset Tico.

Yes - just google Passions Sosua -- all hotels are within walking distance - I just got back today - it was better than ever - passions is about 6 blks from the main action in town, but trust me if your not cheap and want some real quality action, once you go to Passions you won't go to the other end of town - for around $60 you can get a top notch session, no upsale no tip required it's cut and dry what you pay - for about $90 you can take her home for 12 hours - it's up to you - you can get a $20 girl on the street and take your chance, to each his own - I just spent 8 days a Passions, never been happier.

In your opinion, how does Sosua compare to Medellin?
For me Sosua is closer - far cheaper and far safer, and much easier to get around and for me the beach is the big difference

Where's a good place to get more info, like how to get there when flying into to San Domingo, and what forums are available? I'm a CRT member since it gave discounts, and a lot of contact info about CR. Anything like that for DR? I already tried ISG.

You want to fly into Puerto Plata (POP) there is a monger site ISOC (in search of chicas) it's same as CRT but covers the Dominican Republic - also google Sosua , complete listings of hotels and night spots

Ahh but Peter some of us Gringos are smart enough to change are US dollars to peasos so by doing that one hour full service in the AC room which I might add is a top notch room, comes to 2,500rd the same as $66.12 in US dollars, a romp in the massage room comes to 1,300rd that's $34.40 and my favorite is the 3,500rd takeout on the menu cost me $92.58, so the smart thing to do is pick a girl you like, if your not sure if you have a connection try the massage for $34.40 - once I find the one I like I take her for 12 hours for $92.58 - take out has many options depending on when you take the girl home with you - but before you do anything read the menu and get the prices straight, don't quote Cubadave I'm just a customer, ans a happy one at that.

I don't think you need a guide in San Jose, you might want to look into a bodyguard instead, my advice to you is go into the Sportsman's any day and there will be plenty of veteran mongers that will help you out, ask for a guy named Pops he has a lot of knowledge

Thanks for mentioning HOTEL PLAZA EUROPA. I'm going to Sosua in mid July and I wasn't sure about where to stay, until you mentioned that place. I did some research, and they're awesome! It's good to hear that they aren't far from Passions Club. Would you happen to know how far the hotel is from Classico's Nightclub and Latino's Nightclub?
Stayed at Seabreeze closer to the beaches--Europa seemed a bit to far from beach and nightclubs and i was right. Passions was nice--didn't get a girl there but their not pushy and the place is not that far to walk to from downtown. CMP on the way to passions girls lower quality and hawk you--downtown didn't have a problem with the chicas---well just one wanted 1,500 pesos even though we agreed to 1,000 pesos (13.50 US $). the other 12 babes were nice no problems. Restaurants are pricey if you take into account the actual $$$ worth. Remember wages are very low. Classicos is real nice babes all over some really dressed nice and not pushy there either. Just beautiful WOMAN 100% some from Santiago==wew what BOD_ 21yrs old and cute. Goin back in June. U were right Cuba Dave Passions a must stop I think next time I'll try one of those babes out.
HOTEL EUROPA is dirty and nasty
Do you mean the Hotel Europa in Costa Rica or the Hotel Plaza Europa in the Dominican Republic? I agree in San Jose the Hotel Europa is a bit run down, but this is something different in Sosua.
TRUE LIFE ADVENTURE-- Went to Sosua with my wingman-paranoid of his own shadow--anyway we hit the strip-cops pickin up girls walking takin them in--but bothering none of the babes if they arrive by motococho and go right in the bars. So i get a babe, me her and my bud head back to the hotel--he doesn't know spanish so he was just going to hang in his room. Walkin down the street--THIS IS NO LIE- National Police in King Cab pull along side us and offer us a ride. i said we are justb going upthe road--they said it again opened the back door--me and the babe got in- Strange-never asked for id or anything- my buddy said no they asked him again he said no thanks---they took us to Seabreeze and let us out no problem. A dominican guy told us later--they'll do that maybe hoping you'll give them a peso or two but they just said good night. Needless to say my buddy was scared shitless the rest of the trip. But that's all that happened. STRANGE BUT TRUE I SWEAR

i usually fly spirit out of ft lauder to dominican rep, but they don't go to p.o.p. airport. whats my best option, fly into santiago and take cab? or ??? thanks for the infor
No - your best option is take American into POP - it will cost more but the other options are more expensive and time consuming in the long run - Sosua is less then 10 min. from the POP airport - Santa Domingo is a 4 hr bus ride - Santiago is the same plus $35 for a cab before you take the bus - take my word for it in the long run don't waste time on the bus or long cab rides-- GET there and have fun.

hey cubadave, going down to sosua in sept 12 been there 3 times all at casa marina looking for a hotel in town instead of all inclu,got a good deal at the coco hotel but it a bit out of town have you heard about this place and if you did how is it ,you said yo like the sea breeze hotel how is that place is there chicas around the pool during the day you talk about the passion bar been there last year with my wife had a great time there.i,m sure to go again there thank you leo
Sea Breeze is a nice $40 a night room for a single guy- no action at the pool to speak of.I would highly suggest Tera Linda $70 a night breakfast included very nice very safe. I have stayed at Casa Cayena $50 Breakfast included -- the place to hang out during the day is the beach- Your right about Passions - Passions has something for everyone, I see Lot's of guys bring their dates there, some just to look some to experience the action - Passions might not be for everyone but it sure works for me, my advice stay away from the all inclusive places - get a cheaper room and experience the night action in Sosua - remember once you turn out the lights all rooms are the same.

If you go to Sosua wait till at least 9pm to start your look for bar girls, go to Rumbas - Winner circle, Club 59 they are all in the Red Zone, the Disco is the main hangout for the hot girls but it doesn't really get going till about midnight, price will vary so get everything straight before you take them back with you. Passions has about 5 girls during the day that is about the only action during the day, 30 more girls come on at 5pm at Passions - 5pm is the best time - all the girls are fresh and ready to go and you might be the only game in town - when you get to Passions check out the menu all price's are set no negotiating - what it says is what you pay - unlike some places upsales are not allowed- my advice skip all the BS on the streets and in the bars and deal with the girls at Passions, it works for me I'm not a late night person and I don't like to argue about the price.
this will be my first time traveling and i am planning to go to sasua. i would like to know if it is necessary to make reservations for the hotels and when paying do i pay in us dollars or pesos for my stay at the hotels and for the women in club passions? and also were can i change my us currency for pesos and should i do it in the states or in the dominican republic? thank you.
Most hotels will want you to pay in dollars - some (not many) will let you use a credit card but charge a fee - there are several change booth throughout the town- never use the dollar (they will take it ) the peasos is the better way better for you - Passions and all the girls will quote you a price in peasos-just learn the exchange rate so you know what your paying- you will need $10 to enter the country ( no exit fee) after you change your money use the peasos for everything
Hey CubaDave, heading to Sosua in January...have you been around that time? Is the weather still decent and do you recommend renting out villas if there were to be a group of 3 guys going?
I will be there in Jan.-- the weather will be perfect- my advice is don't get a villa, compare the price - 3 guys in a condo or 3 separate rooms in a hotel - hotels run $40 -$60 a night, your own room - more privacy- better maid service and hotels are walking distance to all the action- if you get a 3 bedroom villa for less than $150 chance's are it won't be very nice- just my opinion.

I'll be in Sosua the week after Thanksgiving. Do I need to make hotel reservations beforehand? I've heard you can get a better deal as a walk-up customer. Since I arrive early afternoon with light luggage, I don't mind dragging it around a bit looking for a room.

As you get into the high season sometimes it doesn't hurt to call ahead- you won't get a better deal on a walk up-most places are cash- Casa Caynena, Tera Linda take credit cards-just go to hotels in Sosua on Google and check prices and make some calls - if your traveling light and want a nice room in a house call Socorro Gell it's a 10 room guest house rooms range from $25 - $40 (809 571 2213) - Sea Breeze is $40 (809 571-4712)

The Morazan is your best choice if you want to stay close to the Del Rey- The Freebird is a great choice and the owner Dennis is a wealth of information - as far as hotels outside San Jose your on your own --Due girls like 3 somes ?? They perfer 3 somes and If you decide to do that make sure you keep a close eye on your belongings and get the price upfront and never never pay ahead of time.

Made my reserv at the freebird. Any recommendation for a 1st timer on where to go for chicas during the day and night? Looking for a good quality/price ratio.

You made a good choice staying at the Freebird- Go to MP's like Relax (2 blocks from Freebird) Idem is across the street from Relax, Idem has great girls but a little bit over priced. HLH is a great choice and a block from HLH is New Fantasy- but start your day by checking out the Del Rey - morning price's are about half of the night prices- a great place to meet other guys in the same boat as you is The Sportsman Lodge, you will always find someone to answer your questions there.

Most hotels are in the $50 range - everything is with in about 6-8 blocks -- Tera Linda is in the $70 - $90 range right in the middle of the action and 3 blocks from the beach and 6 blocks from Passions - El Colibri is 1 block from Passions ($50) and across the street from Cuba Liberia very convenient. Also checkout Sosua Bay Resort all the hotels are chica friendly just stay away from the "all inclusive resorts"

Go to Jaco expect two things you will pay no less than a $100 for a girl and there is a good chance of getting robbed - go to Jaco bring lots of money and bring a gun- and don't go alone.
im going to be in the d.r. march 20-27.... my friend has a villa he rents near classicos... he says its wall to wall chix that u dont have to pay(a small percentage u do) that will fuck simply because im an attractive african american.... is this true... or is he blowing smoke.???? we are all circa 25.

He is blowing smoke - the girls don't care if you are white - black - fat - skinny- or really butt ugly - they are there for the money - most have boyfriends at home - my advice get the price upfront, for example if she wants 2000rd's you say 1500 with a 500 rd tip (if it's good) they will hit you for cab for food etc. remember get the price upfront and never pay ahead of time. Have fun and what ever you do don't believe a thing they say she will tell you how handsome you are then hit you up for a little more money then the next night she's hanging all over some ugly slob and telling him the same thing - it's just the way it is it's a level playing field.

Right next to the Santa Cruz bank there is a phone rental - not sure the price but cheap - good idea - can't remember the name of the company but there is only one phone company - just ask someone - if you have any questions at all while you are there stop into Don Antonios hotel during the day and ask for Obie he is a English speaking Dominican with a wealth of knowledge - Don Antonio's is one block behind Rumba's

Good input on your site. I'm planning on going to Sosua in May. Im planning on banging at least 2 girls per night and enjoy some drinks and mangu in the mornings. I'll be staying at a friends place about 5 blocks from passions. Would you suggest I take a cab back and forth during my scenarios or should I just crash at passions? And if I decide on cabbing to and from, do you have any suggestions?

The cab system is easy there are no cabs - you take what is called a motorcoach - you hop on the back of a small motorcycle for about $1 you can get anywhere - they are everywhere- Passions isn't a hotel, it closes about 2am - the streets are safe - but at that time take the motorcoach even if you have a girl they will take both of you and don't feel cheap the girls all ride the motocoach.- If you have Facebook go to Cubadave in Sosua - I have many photos and insight on Sosua.
Thanks cuba dave for all your information. I just got back from Sosua and we had a ball!! Passions is definately the best spot in town for quality ladies. We stayed in Lions Pride Villa, which is right around the corner from Passions. For $100 a night per person, four men can bring as many ladies there as they want. The place is huge, completely gated with a maid and a night time armed guard. You also have your own private pool, and you sleep in your own suite (4 suites upstairs) Flat screen TV's in every suite and in the main living room. A huge dining area, a bar area, a second living room, with a completly furnished kitchen. The ladies didn't want to leave! They wanted to cook for us and have sex all day long for a small fee. There was no need to leave except to go find new girls to replace the ones that were already there who didn't want to leave. There was nothing like it on this earth. We brought some unlocked cellphones from home and had Orange (Sosua's cell phone company) put prepaid minutes on those phones for a minimal fee. That way we could call the U.S. or any of the ladies in Sosua. We went grocery shopping and had the ladies cook for us daily. Men live like KINGS in this place!
Thanks for the info sounds great - I will check it out - I have talked to a lot of guys who travel in groups that choose to stay in villia's instead of hotels - sounds like a good price - the end of town where Passions is has many large house's for rent these are house's that are new and just aren't selling- if you are taking a short trip and plan on coming back , then take a day and check some of these places out - thanks again.

OK you made a good choice - make sure you give a trip report - airfare will be a bit higher than CR but rooms and everything else will be much cheaper with all things beginning equally you still have the beach in Sosua - the weather in Sosua is really nice and while at the beach you might get lucky.
Hey cubadave. Is it very busy around memorial day weekend in sosua. I'll be out there from may 23rd to the 29th. I'll be taking at the terra Linda with two other buddies of mine.
The long weekends always draw not only touriest but locals from surrounding towns - Sosua is a very popular beach town so look for the beach to be packed - a lot of girls come down from Santiago and look to hook up for the long weekend they come with just their purse and no place to stay- long weekends also bring a lot of Gringos so places like Passions start to get busy a lot earlier than normal and if you come late most of the good girls are gone - just a thought.

New Garden is close to everything- check the Menu at the to of this article - you can bring a camera to Passions - just ask the girls first some love photo's some have families that don't know they work there - stay away from nude photos - not worth the problem- Passions has great in house rooms and check the take out menu - I suggest you try the girl first before you commit to a whole night. 2500rd for one hour well worth it.
Visiting from the 15th to 22nd of may. Just wondering how the locals view younger american's with tatttoo sleeves. I am 26 and plan on staying at the sosua bay beach resort if they are chicka friendly.
Would you suggest the public beach by day and passions or disco's at night?
I also look very young for my age get told I look 18-20 all the time how will this be viewed.

Better check Sosua Bay last week it was closed down by the govt. - hope you didn't pay ahead of time-- age doesn't matter, color, size, weight,nothing matters everyone is on a level playing field - change your money at the Sea Breeze exchange booth -- never use US money for anything - go to the the beach during the day and Passions at about 5pm the disco doesn't open till about 11pm- plenty of action on the streets starting at sundown.
No I have not booked anything, read someone where they were getting closed. Guess I will have to think where to go now. I'm not really picky I just like something close to the beach and downtown. That place seemed prefect.

My budget is about $1500-2000 spending cash for girls/hotel/food. Think that should be enough for 7 days.
Spending depends on your taste in women -I know guys who wouldn't spend $ 200 in a week and I know guys that spend that in one night - bring more than you think- also if you want you can go to the ATM - never use US money- Sea Breeze $40 a night and the 7th night free
