New Fantasy Open to Midnight

Anyone looking for a blow job or an quick tryst with a cheap hooker in Costa Rica can now look forward to getting serviced late night in San Jose without dealing with a bar or night club atmosphere. The going rate in these establishments is generally $30 for full service sex, although New Fantasy charges tourists a rate closer to $50.

While technically the MPs as we like to call them operate as Pensions or cheap motels they are marketed as "Massage Parlors" because that is term more quickly understood by foreign tourists.

New Fantasy is one of the more visible venues and is open until midnight during the week, and 10pm on Sunday. Recently a bar was added when the establishment managed to secure a liquor license to go along with short term room rental. Technically the hookers who wait around in the reception area are just customers and the business activity is room rental.

The good news is that New Fantasy is not alone in keeping the doors open late and in Barrio Amon a gentleman can get late night instant satisfaction at Muses, Krysis (10pm) or theoretically 24 hours at Jet Set 70E or Pension Flamingo.

While the venues themselves are staying open the talent does not always stay late, especially earlier in the week when there are fewer late night customers.

The trend of staying open late is not just limited to Barrio Amon, however this is the part of town a tourist would feel most comfortable after dark navigating on. The best approach would be to start between 6pm and 7pm when the rush hour has faded from downtown.

La Gavoita at Night

The party can continue at Taverna VIPS, which is active a little earlier in the night than the various night clubs in San Jose. Those who are a little more advanced can walk to Parque Central where the new pedestrian boulevard with improved lighting has created a safer night life.

Open late on this side of town is La Mansion II and La Gavoita, which has remodeled with the name Pension Erotica. Both are now open to at least midnight and just two blocks south of Parque Central. The price for full service at either location has been reported to vary between c10,000 and c15,000 depending on how well you speak Spanish.

Again while the talent during the day at either of these two venues has recently improved considerably expect that your mileage will vary during the evening.

The shift to late night in Parque Central is a welcome compliment to the strip clubs in the area. The talent and continuous nude dancing at both Las Arcadas and Margaritas is a good late night option for anyone who enjoys drinking beer while watching hookers strip live on stage.

Of course now with the MPs staying open late you can skip the one drink minimum at the night clubs and go straight to the back room and enjoy a late night session for under $30.
